This post is entitled "Food Hunt" cause this week's been nothing short of good food :)

Tuesday
Lunch with Kimberly!
Finally found a lunch kaki haha.
Such a coincidence that her office is really nearby, just right across at Haji Lane!
We had pies at The Gourmet Pie Company and then hopped over to this old school coffee house somewhere along Muscat Street.
A pity they didn't have the Chili Crab pie that day which Kimberly highly recommended.
Okay then I had a real crazy night.
Headed to Sentosa for Fright Night after work, reached back school near 5am, slept for 3 hours, showered and went to work.
Okay that was one long night (and sentence haha).

Wednesday
Back to some alone time.
This time, I had Phad Thai at Jai Thai, again one of the restaurants in the Singapore's top 20 inexpensive restaurants list.
Nice though a little too much peanuts for my liking.

Thursday
I had sudden cravings for truffle fries so I went to check out Symmetry.
And their fries are truly awesome!
They came in such a huge bucket I couldn't possibly have finished them on the spot.
I wanted to keep the rest for teatime but Kim happened to comment on my Instagram photo so I decided to share the love with her!

Friday
Last day of work and TGIF so I decided to give myself a treat!
I had a set lunch at Creation Cafe (also under the top 20 list)  for $11.90 which consists of a soup, drink and pasta.

I chose the Seafood Laksa Pasta which was very flavourful.
Then I headed over to Tom's Palette for some ice-cream!
I can't believe my last visit was 2 years ago even though it's so near school and there's a discount for SMU students.
Anyways, I had Salted Caramel Cheesecake and Yuzu which complemented each other cause the former was sweet and savoury while the latter was light and refreshing.
And then dinner at Jumbo to celebrate dad's birthday.
The free tiramisu cake from Bakerzin was a sweet end to the day :)

And of course what's working in a liquor company without bringing some home? ;D

Saturday
Baked Lipton tea cupcakes with cinnamon buttercream frosting!
Aren't these babies pretty heheh

I've never been much of a food person.
In fact, I've always thought that it was such a waste to spend money on food because the satisfaction from eating is so short-lived.
I still have no idea why I'm so generous towards myself this time round.
But I probably will go back to my unhealthy eating ways once school starts.
I need to lose weight anyway :/
