And finally - the summer we've all been waiting for!

Orlando (1 - 4 July)

Flight got delayed so we only reached close to midnight.
Orlando was really crazy and tiring cause we went to 3 themeparks on 3 consecutive days.
I'm not sure if I will have the energy to do that again haha.
Spent the first day at Aquatica the waterpark.
It was rather disappointing cause the dolphin ride which is their so-called "star attraction" had only 4 dolphins and the ride was too fast to spot them, much less appreciate the surroundings.
Plus it was raining, sigh.
Second day was much much better.
DISNEY WORLD!!!
And thanks to Nicholas, we got free tickets hehehe.
The tickets didn't cover Magic Kingdom though but no matter cause I've tried like half the rides before at the other Disneylands :)
We spent the last day at Universal Studios!!!
The place I've been wanting to visit so much.
Just Harry Potter Town alone makes the entry to Islands of Adventure so worth it.
The whole set-up is so real; I really felt like a muggle!
And it contains the best themepark ride that I've ever set in my entire life!!!!!
Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey :)
So good that we all came out screaming "let's do it again!" and we rushed to queue again hahaha :p
And the Harry Potter experience can never be complete without drinking Butterbeer and trying the All Flavour Beans!

Miami (5 - 7 July)

Miami was a much needed relaxing trip especially after Orlando haha.
All we did was to lie on the beach and sleep.
Sounds like a waste of time but it was so shiok! (to put it in the Singaporean way)

Las Vegas (7 - 13 July)

Vegas was where I unleashed my shopping power bwahaha
After controlling and resisting for so long (because of the domestic flight luggage restriction), I spent more than USD500 in two days!
We made a day trip to Grand Canyon as well and it was so AMAZING.
You find yourself so lucky to be living on this planet with all these wonders.
Vegas is not called the 'Sin City' for nothing.
You can find jackpot machines everywhere, and I really mean EVERYWHERE.
In fact, it was the first thing we saw when we alighted from our plane.
Every hotel's lobby will have the open concept casino as well but they're so strict you can't even watch unless you're 21!
No leeway given to me too though I was just short of 10 days ):
You have not seen Vegas if you miss the night lights!
And one of the more popular ways to see it is booking a limosine!
Call it atas haha!

Los Angeles (13 - 18 July)

We managed to cover Beverly Hills, Getty Museum and Venice Beach the first day.
Beverly Hills was just a short trip to see some of the houses and "breathe in the air" yet again.
Getty Museum was a suggestion made by Jasmine and it offered a panoramic view of LA!
Venice Beach (or better known as California Beach) was where we had our dinner.
A pity the food wasn't good ):
We spent the second day at another Waterpark (Raging Waters!) with Randy's godsister + family.
The queues were really long though and we had to take care of the kids so we didn't manage to take many rides oh wells.
We visited Hollywood on the third day - namely the Walk of Fame and the captured the famous Hollywood sign.
My biggest regret is that I didn't take a picture of the "Taylor Swift" star ));
Last but not least, more shopping on the last day!

Yosemite (18 - 19 July)

This was a bold move cause only three of us - Mark, Zi and I went.
It was really really rush but thanks so much Mark for accommodating us and being an awesome driver!
We were too paiseh to turn down the godsis's hao yi of bringing us to the dim sum place.
So we only left at noon and it was a 5 hour drive to Yosemite, leaving us only 1 hour of daylight to see Yosemite Valley!
Of course we couldn't just do that.
So we woke up real early the next morning to make another trip to the Mariposa Grove.
Now, I'm satisfied :)

San Francisco (19 - 21 July)

(Blur) Zi and I took the YARTS bus and Amtrak train to SF.
Thankfully, everything went well and we arrived in the evening.
*Pats myself on the back*
We hung around until Clarice and Randy arrived then we all went to see the Golden Gate Bridge with the night lights.
Spent half of the next day at the Golden Gate Bridge as well beside the Golden Gate Park and Ross :p
Sad to be going home but I think that's enough.
